Pauline B. Racine

School director and teacher

Having fallen into music like Obelix into the magic potion, Pauline quickly developed a passion for it. Singing became a way to express herself and communicate.

Her involvement in the Victoriaville cultural scene began with gospel and liturgical singing. Singing in harmony was already second nature by her teens.

In 2001-2002, she refined her jazz and classical singing in Montreal.

On arriving in the Outaouais, she became involved in choral singing before going on to direct a choir herself.

She has taken part in several musical adventures, including a collaboration on the album 1001 Moments – Espoirs et Pénombres / Hope and Shadowy Lights by Dave Quessy.

After teaching singing at home, she joined a local school in 2020, and since then more than a hundred learners have benefited from her personal and musical support.

Alongside her teaching, she became a trainer for the next generation of teachers before embarking on the adventure that is Prélude.

She is already looking forward to meeting you and singing together.

Mathilde Guénard

Voice teacher

From the age of 10, Mathilde developed an interest in singing. She began her musical journey guided by our director, Pauline. Over five years she deepened her talent and knowledge, adding vocal and projection techniques to her toolbox, along with tips for placing sounds well in the mouth to maximize resonance.

Throughout her musical path, she gained considerable confidence in herself and her abilities. She then became an intern and taught alongside her mentor before becoming a teacher in her own right.

Now studying early childhood education, Mathilde combines music and pedagogy, and is eager to meet her learners.

Alexia Brassard

Piano teacher

Alexia began her musical journey at the age of 5. It was love at first sight — music became her soulmate and her confidante.

Over time she became familiar with other instruments such as guitar, percussion and voice. She enjoyed each of them, and all of them fascinated her.

She took up singing seriously in 2023 and distinguished herself by winning Secondaire en spectacle two years in a row.

As well as being an incredible pianist, she is an outstanding songwriter and performer, and she is eager to meet her first learners.
